Get Warrington Talking

Get Warrington Talking is all about encouraging open and supportive conversations around mental health, mental illness, and suicide prevention within our local communities. Our team of project workers and volunteers get involved in local groups, activities, and events, providing information, support, connections to appropriate services as well as opportunities to build skills, confidence and awareness around tackling stigma and discrimination.

Our aim is to get the people of Warrington talking – we believe this can change and save lives.

The Five Ways to Wellbeing are a proven preventative wellbeing approach to managing our mental wellbeing.

Hope 100 Walk for World Suicide Prevention Day

Warrington’s ‘Hope 100’ walk brings the community together to mark World Suicide Prevention Day.

We believe that through open conversations, active listening, asking questions, supporting people to access help, and challenging stigma around mental health, we can make a difference in Warrington.

The walk provides an opportunity to connect with others, have a conversation, share experiences, support one another or just be silent and take time to reflect, knowing there is someone walking beside you.

Thank you to everyone who came along to the walk on Saturday 6th September, we had an incredible turnout of almost 300 people who walked through Warrington to help raise awareness for suicide prevention. Take a look at the video below to show the highlights of the day.
