Get Warrington Talking
Through local events, networking, campaigns and conversations we will create a culture of knowledge and understanding around mental health, mental illness and suicide prevention.
We will strengthen the support networks within the town for people experiencing mental health challenges and endeavour to ensure that everyone can access the help they need when they need it.
If you live or work in Warrington and you have a lived mental health experience, then we want to hear from you. We are keen to grow the number of Get Warrington Talking champions so that we can positively engage with our local communities, challenging stigma and discrimination.
A social supper took place Thursday 7th October which was aimed at both groups and individuals with an interest in bettering the mental health and fitness of people in Warrington. It was an opportunity to chat & share a supper with like-minded people and learn a bit more about the informal support that is available for people in this town.
The 5 a side chess battling suicide bus came to Warrington on Thursday 23rd September, so many important conversations took place with people sharing their stories.
